This salt cellar or salt dip is made from Vaseline Glass and the pattern is called Hexagonal. Vaseline glass has trace amounts of Uranium Oxide which allows the glass to glow when near a black light. This elegant salt cellar measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. In normal light, the glass appears as a yellowish green color.
