Description

This solid brass window spring bolt is designed to be installed in the wooden stile of a vertically sliding sash window. It is commonly used in lieu of a balance system or sash lock on lightweight single hung sash. For installation, drill a 3/8″ diameter hole in the sash stile. Then bore a hole in the window jamb to accept the spring plunger to hold the sash at the desired height. Details
